Formed in the spring of 2002, Scooter's BBQ has been serving the Ithaca NY area authentic slow smoked BBQ & regional specialties at various public outdoor events (Ithaca Farmers Market, Trumansburg Farmers Market, music festivals.) & private catering events (Birthdays, Graduations, office parties).

Pulled pork sandwiches, hickory smoked chickens, mesquite smoked ribs are prepared starting up to 2 days before your event to ensure the proper flavor and taste of authentic BBQ! A secret combination of spices start these dishes on their way to becoming something extraordinary. After a day of getting "rubbed" down with spice, they're transfered to the smoker, where they will finish their journey to becoming the Scooter's BBQ creation that will have your taste buds come alive.

Paired with made from scratch side dishes such as coleslaw, BBQ baked beans, macaroni salad or corn bread, you'll be wishing you saved room for dessert!

Ahhhhhhhh, desserts! From homemade chocolate fudge brownies to creme brulees and chocolate Amaretto mousse, you may just have to over indulge & join the gym in the morning!

A local chef for over 15 years, Scooter also likes to show off his culinary skills & regional roots with offerings of chicken & pork spiedies (a Binghamton NY specialty), salt potatoes & Cornell BBQ chickens (invented by Dr. Baker, of Cornell University in the 1950's). Vegetarians are not forgotten, a marinated Portabella mushroom topped with sauteed vidalia onions, sweet red bell peppers & Scooters BBQ sauce.
